Antique Crock Lid stamped 25/30. The crock was stamped with a blue crown and was busted in 3 pieces, so I didn't get it. The owner dated it as 1890-1900ish. He's no antique roadshow but seemed to know his antiques.
The lid is in great shape with a hairline crack as seen on the underside photo. The lid does not have a manufacturer stamp, so it will also work well with any 25 or 30 gallon crock.
The lid is much more rare than the crock. Most lids were dropped and discarded, years ago.
If you need shipping, it's included in the price. I cannot discount this item because I must build a solid wood crate for shipping. I can deal a little for a local pickup in Greensboro NC.
