Reuge music box. The music mechanism is over wounded. Handsomely carved and straight lined, this Anri carved oak music box measures 6 3/4" x 5 1/2 and stands 2 3/4" high. The inside is unlined except for a red velvet floor. It was made in Italy. The movement is not visible and plays a Reuge movement of "Edelweiss" when the lid is lifted.
