13 Vintage Handkerchiefs in the 1940’s box they’ve been stored in for 55+ years.
Some are very fine cotton, some are linen. All have been embellished with/hand embroidery or lace. One has a pink monogrammed S, one has red, pink, white, green embroidered roses. 3 are exactly the same. Sizes vary from 14” square down to 9.5” square. All will need to be re-washed & pressed after their 55 year slumber!
Square box is 8” x 2.5” high w/lid on. Interior lid needs re-gluing; other than that it’s in remarkably good shape for its’ age. Box was stored in a closed dresser drawer & is free from rios/tears/dents. Antique red storage container has 6 sections. 13” x 5” x 2.25”. Quilted fabric. Not in as good shape as square box but still great for its’ age.
